mediation is a great tool for clients to
be able to settle their case and remain
in control of the outcome without having
to go through the time and expense of
fully litigating the case through the
court system typically we like to use
rule 31 listed mediators in the state of
Tennessee and most of the mediators that
we use are attorneys who practice family
law in the jurisdiction where the case
is taking place
sometimes these attorneys are former
judges and we like to use mediators who
are very experienced in this area
mediation in Tennessee is non
confrontational so that means that you
and your spouse or the other party do
not have to interact at the mediation
we’re all in separate rooms and the
mediator goes back and forth with the
