I have found it to be a difficult question to answer to be perfectly honest with you because some are less and some are more. Again, it gets down to what’s unique about the parties, their community property, their needs in terms of learning to change their processes, how long they want to take to learn the skillset all of that will fold into what the cost is going to be. I generally find, again, in our medium to high conflict cases it will cost them much less in the collaborative process than if they go to litigation. Because they’ll be in litigation for a long period of time and every time they go to the courthouse, they’re running the meter on that.

Dallas, TX Family Law Attorney, Barbara Cole, talks about the cost of a collaborative divorce and how it compares to a traditional divorce.
