Portland, OR family law attorney Zach Fruchtengarten talks about his experience in handling high net-worth cases. He explains that the bulk of his practice involves representing one side in family law matters, often either the spouse or the business owner. Because many individuals and businesses own real estate, these cases frequently include significant property issues. Drawing on his education and prior professional experience before entering family law, he was able to handle such matters from the outset of his practice.

He notes that the majority of his cases involve complex assets, which may include bankruptcies, the use of forensic accountants, and the involvement of various appraisers for business and real estate valuations. This combination of legal strategy and financial analysis has formed the core of his practice since its beginning.
