so sexual harassment cases always pose a
challenge because sexual harassment
generally it or he said she said cases
right and that means that sexual
harassment doesn’t generally take place
in the presence of other people right a
harasser doesn’t go say something
inappropriate or uh physically touch
somebody else when there’s lots of
witnesses around they wait until there’s
no witnesses around and so there often
aren’t other witnesses who could back up
what a victim of harassment is saying
occurred to her or him that can
sometimes pose a problem but what we
tell people is that just because there’s
no witnesses to harassment doesn’t mean
that there’s no evidence right so if an
employee were to who’s being harassed
were to take detailed notes of what
happened when where it happened what was
said taking notes around the time of the
harassment as detailed as possible that
is really compelling and impactful
