The stranger litigation is an interesting cautionary tale about be careful of who you go into business with. These two business-owners got into business. They only knew each other for a few days, literally signed their partnership agreement, immediately had falling out, never really did business together but got into litigation shortly thereafter. I got hired a couple weeks before trial to try the case, wound up trying it successfully. My guy had been sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars in that case, got him off with a defense verdict. But the cautionary tale is know who you’re going into business with and have it well-documented. Both of those things would’ve helped in that case.
