Well unfortunately and it doesn’t happen all the time because I think most business people try to keep their focus on staying out of trouble and doing the right thing, because their customers count. I mean that’s the essence of business is having customers, and so you want those customers not only to have a good experience you want them to come back. That’s why you want them to have a good experience, and so the mistake that is made unfortunately, is sometimes a lack of awareness of what the rules may be. Many times, governmental agencies both local governments and state governments will create regulations and guidelines that have to be adhered to and they frequently change. And so, if the business isn’t keeping themselves apprised with those changes, they can inadvertently without intending to – they can inadvertently find themselves in a position of not being compliant, which then can interfere with their business.

Las Vegas, NV business law attorney James L. Wadhams talks about the biggest mistake businesses make in administrative law. He remarks that, unfortunately, it doesn’t happen all the time because most business people focus on staying out of trouble and doing the right thing. Customers matter, he says—that’s the essence of business. It’s not just about providing a good experience; it’s about ensuring customers come back.

He notes that the mistakes often come from a simple lack of awareness. Local and state governments frequently issue regulations and guidelines that businesses must follow, and these rules change often. If a business isn’t keeping up with these updates, it can unintentionally fall out of compliance, which in turn can interfere with operations.
