We are the only Law Firm, the only estate planning law firm in Milpitas. We’re certified Specialists and we’re really good at our work. There’s a lot of estate planning firms out there, people that do wills and trusts and Powers of Attorney and Health Care directives, but what makes us a little bit different is that we really focus on the whole family. We don’t focus on just the people who are sitting in front of us; we focus on the children, we focus on the grandparents, we focus on the brothers and sisters. We want to provide a whole solution to a family. Some people talk about tax a lot, some people talk about death a lot. What we try to talk about is families and how families work together, how do relationships work. The law is the law; it’s not going to change that much, it’s going to be the same for a lot of different people. But the thing that makes people different about their own plan is their family, what makes them different. We treat them as individuals, not just as cogs in a wheel.

We try to give a very high level of service. We aren’t just a firm that provides documents and sends you out the door. We have a lot of questions. When someone comes in for an estate plan, they submit two questionnaires. We sit with them, we talk to them, they decide upon a basic plan structure, and then we send them another questionnaire. We’ll go through each step along the way. We provide them documents, we provide explanation, and then they sign. Even after they sign, we provide additional direction and explanation. That means that we spend a lot more time with clients. That means that we might not be the cheapest firm around, but we really try to provide the best service that we possibly can to help people along the process and help them feel comfortable.
