The statute of limitations in Minnesota for wrongful death is three years. There can be some cases that might have a shorter period such as two years if the death arose out of an improvement or a lack of an improvement to real property. So you have to be careful of those types of cases for the two-year statute of limitations but generally, it’s a three-year statute of limitations.
