I set out on my own in 1993 and set up my own practice after I had been with another firm for 10 years. And since that time, I have been at just two locations down here, downtown St. Paul. And Susan Johnson joined me maybe five years ago when she finished law school. So I have done criminal defense work my entire life or my entire career. A lot of people spend some time in a prosecutor’s office I’ve never been a prosecutor, never done the other side I just don’t have the stomach for it. But I will say that I feel like I’m one of the luckiest person’s around because I do what I love and I love what I do and there’s not a day that I don’t want to get up and keep doing this work.
