Blessed Marvelous Herve was arrested by police in San Francisco for attacking a women he had been stalking on the street. After he was arrested, he fabricated a story of abuse occurring at the police station. He claimed that a female police officer had beat him up, severely mistreated him, even humiliated him by allegedly forcing him to sit in human feces on a bench in the holding cell. None of this occurred and we showed that through numerous witnesses that we interviewed and investigated through the process through the deposition discovery process. However, Mr. Herve had convinced a number of people to testify in behalf as to his claims of really horrible abuse by the police.

That was a case that had to go to trial since Mr. Herve’s lawyer was persuaded by his clients and his client’s witnesses. So sometimes, it’s ultimately up to a jury to evaluate all the evidence in a case and in this case, as a result of the investigation we did we were able to show that the claims of abuse and the specific incidents of being forced to sit in human feces were all fabrications. And there was a unanimous jury verdict in favor of the police officers in that case.
