What’s the statute of limitations in Minnesota for an accident involving a commercial vehicle? The statute of limitations in that scenario is the same as a motor vehicle accident. It’s six years from the date that the accident occurred. Remember, again, that that statute of limitations can be tolled in the case of a minor child and some other exceptions may apply, but as a general proposition for almost all of us, it’s a six year statute of limitations.
