I think there are a lot of trends in child-custody arrangements now. I think that they all surround a recognition of equal rights between parents. It customarily or traditionally was that the mother would often be the custodial parent or primary resident and the father would have a traditional parenting-time schedule where now you’re getting a lot of shared-custody arrangements, you’re getting a lot of shared-housing arrangements, which is quite unique. And even there’s some ______ developing about the, let’s say, non-carrying spouse because of the difference in relationships, rights to be present at the hospital or to have their name on the birth certificate. So there’s a greater recognition of providing equal rights to both parents now.
