Well, if I talk about my educational experience, I’ve got to go back to, well, I would say I would go to Morehouse first, because that had a huge impact on my development as a individual and also my foresight into the future as far as what I wanted to do and how I wanted my practice to be. I think that’s when I first determined that I wanted to own my own practice and also learned how to make use of the resources and contacts that I had in my network as well.

And going to Columbia Law School of course, it provided me with a phenomenal legal education, world-class. I have nothing but good things to say about that law school. And it was really a funny coincidence that three people from my public high school here in Atlanta, Georgia were all at Columbia Law School at the same time. So we used to get a laugh out of that fact that we went to this public high school in Chamblee, Georgia and yet three of us are sitting here in an ivy league law school with all these people that went to these elite private institutions for high school. So I think that’s a testament to my high school education, to Morehouse, and then Columbia itself.

And I think those really instilled in me the importance of hard work, the benefit of legal excellence in drafting and writing, as well as research. And I’d even go back to our days at Chamblee and Morehouse and Columbia for our trial advocacy, where we did moot court, mock trials. I’ve been doing those since high school. And so I feel very comfortable in a courtroom as a result now.

Atlanta, GA personal injury attorney Thomas Reynolds talks about his background and how it has given him experience beneficial for his law career.
