Well, if they’re a same-sex couple that’s actually, they were married in a state or a nation that recognizes it, they are married for federal purposes, for all federal purposes including tax purposes. So on a going-forward basis, since 2013, they’ve had to file as married couples filing jointly or as married couples filing separately.
