Personally, I find it more rewarding to be compensated according to our performance rather than the time it takes to accomplish a task. While Grace and I have handled business litigation and other matters where clients are accustomed to paying lawyers based on an hourly rate, our practice now primarily operates on a contingent fee basis. I greatly prefer this arrangement because it aligns our interests with those of our clients. The more effectively we can represent and achieve favorable outcomes for our clients, the greater the reward for both them and ourselves. This serves as a powerful motivator for me.
