so typically there’s three there’s three
parties to represent on a section 15
transaction one could be a unit owner
one could be the buyer of the actual
property and the third is the
condominium board or the hoa so all of
those three separate buckets need their
own representation and we have
represented all three
typically
we are representing the buyer of the
property and we have represented
numerous buyers that have done
pretty large section 15d conversions in
the city of chicago but we’ve also
represented
unit owners that have reached out and
contacted
us i i did a a little bit of a blog on
section 15 and my individual blog and i
think some people may be surfing the
internet picked up my name there and
called me
um and generally i just give them advice
over the phone uh on what they should or
shouldn’t do and tell them that
hiring a lawyer is probably
not the best use of their resources
