No, not without the risk that you could have your whole settlement or divorce reopened for fraud. Just because you have to share the information with the other spouse does not mean that they’re entitled to your inheritance. What it does mean is that and under Minnesota law we have a duty to our spouses of full financial disclosure in a divorce proceeding. It is possible to waive that but you would not want to do that.
