My practice is varied and civil litigation procedure and the subset of law is vast. I could spend all day every day just reading the new cases and staying current on the law, but then I wouldn’t have time to do any work on actual cases. So one of the ways that I like to stay current on the law is by getting involved in shaping the law and that’s through the amicus process. And I volunteer my time to write friend of the court briefs for clients so that they can have a voice in shaping appellate decisions that affect their vital interests.
