We had Mr. Petters on camera in a video deposition and for nearly eight hours that day the answers were I don’t recall, I don’t remember, I don’t know, even though they were very simple questions about who owns what business, who runs what business, do you have a system of governance, do you have a board of directors? Very simple questions he didn’t know the answer to any of those. But probably the most interesting part of the day is when he comes out into the hallway he shifts back into salesman mode and he wants to be everybody’s best friend including my client who was suing him. And I’ll never forget this he puts his arms around my clients shoulder, looked him in the eye, winked at him and said, “Don’t worry about this I’ll take care of you.” It made no sense under the circumstances but that kind of gives you a little look behind the man.
