I had a case which fell into my engineering background where my client was in a loft handing down tables. They were setting up for a reception. And so here was this cart with the tables, she stepped over the cart to get it into position to better push the cart towards where they were handing the tables down. And all of a sudden, she realized there was no floor and she fell 10 feet onto concrete stairs. And she was very fortunate that one inch either way she would have been paralyzed. But fortunately, she made a miraculous recovery and we were ultimately able to get $382,000.00 for her for her injury.

Another one was and you see this quite often, is a dog bite. I have one case right now where the lady’s finger was bitten into viciously. And we’re negotiating with the insurance company as far as what damages she is due. We don’t shy away from any case that comes in the door. What we try to do is talk to our clients, get the facts, and then talk about the merits of their case. If it doesn’t have the possibility of an outcome that they’re looking for, we won’t take the case because it’s doing a disservice to that particular client.
