Denton, TX trial attorney Bill Wood talks about his leadership positions. He explains that I have actively engaged with my community, contributing my time and expertise to various boards and organizations. One notable involvement was serving as a school board member in the district where my children attended school, dedicating nearly a decade to this role. Additionally, I have held the position of president in our local bar association, taking on the responsibility of leading and representing fellow legal professionals.

Another aspect of my involvement that brings me great joy is mentoring and teaching young lawyers. I have served as the chair of the mentorship committee, guiding and supporting aspiring attorneys in their professional growth. This rewarding experience has been a longstanding passion of mine.

Furthermore, I have found fulfillment in coaching kids, and it has become a nickname for me as people often refer to me as “Coach.” The opportunity to support and inspire young individuals in their personal and athletic pursuits remains a source of immense satisfaction for me.
