Like and kind of related to when I was just out of college, I had a dispute with an employer and I went to a lawyer to get some help, and I think I was asking or I thought my employer owed me $6,000.00. So I went to engage the services of a lawyer and I tried to get justice, and I did receive a settlement from the employer, but however when I got the lawyer’s invoice, it was for almost as much as I was asking for, and I thought that was a little unfair, and it just seemed that the communication between myself and my lawyer wasn’t as it should have been.

So when I became a lawyer, one of the things that I wanted to do was make sure those lines of communication with my clients are open, so that at the end of whatever services I am providing them, there is not a big surprise. So that’s one of the philosophies that I try to adhere to with my clients

Minneapolis Estate Planning Attorney Ned Ostenso, talks about his philosophy as a lawyer.
