Well, I grew up with Perry Mason, and I thought that I would become a lawyer and I would get innocent people off just like Perry Mason did. I actually started my practice back in 1980 up in Duluth and was beginning to get quite a few criminal cases and was getting some good results, including an acquittal or two, and I suddenly realized, if I was going to continue on that path, all of my clients would be criminals, so I decided that I would rather hang out with business people than criminals, so I became a business litigator.
