I graduated undergraduate school from University of Michigan School of Business. And then I went to University of Pennsylvania Law School. Going through business gave me a background that – I was able to serve as a director on two boards of public companies and I have this knowledge and took accounting courses while I was in college. And as a result of that, I do understand the financial end of divorces a lot better than some of my compatriots. I have practiced now going on 59 years. And I’ve handled all different type of cases from start to finish. So I’ve had the experience and I feel I have the ability to handle any matter related to the field of family law.

During my career, I’ve been named “Super Lawyer,” best lawyer, lawyer of the year. I’ve been awarded pins by the governor in helping pass the Equal Rights Amendment through legislature and a pin for helping pass the Divorce Code through the legislature. In passing the Divorce Code, I did some negotiation with some of the counsel to the legislators and worked on that. I’ve gotten certificate of appreciation for lecturing from the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. I was one of the lecturers who traveled the state after the passage of the Pennsylvania Divorce Code in 1980 and lectured on that. I was given an award by the Montgomery Bar, and from the Pennsylvania Bar, certificates of appreciation for doing lecturing.

The Pennsylvania Bar, I also received an award for founding the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer, which at the time when I did was a monthly publication, but now is rather more lengthy and is published quarterly. I was named Attorney of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals – that was for 2018/2019 – and receiving a lifetime achievement award and was named one of the Pennsylvania top lawyers – ten top lawyers in Philadelphia magazine. And the American Institute of Family Law, I was named one of the top ten lawyers in the country at that time. And again, as I say, a special achievement award from the Bar Association for various things that I did. And I also authored the six-volume set of the “Pennsylvania Matrimonial Practice” that was published shortly after the Divorce Code came in and then did updates yearly for many years. I was a council member for the American Bar Family Law Section, chairman of the Pennsylvania Bar Family Law Section, chairman of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy Matrimonial Lawyers, and I served on the – council member of the American Bar Family Law Section.
