Well, I was born on the Bayou in South Louisiana, and I moved to the Windward side of Kwahu in the State of Hawaii and when I was fourteen. I came to Minnesota in 1975 and found that I, more or less, spoke [laughs] the same language that people did here and put roots down here in Minnesota. So I’m always trying to improve on my Cajun recipes, and I find that I kick back after work with my ukulele quite a bit, but Minnesota’s definitely home for me now.
