I am currently in 2018 I am the president of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. I’ve served on the State Bar Board of Directors. I’ve been on the board of directors for the Texas Trial Lawyer Association, the board of directors for the Texas Trail and Appellate Specialist Association. I’ve been chair of the Advocate’s Committee, which is the younger members of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. I serve on multiple Houston Bar Association committees including chairing the Access to Justice Committee. It’s been one of the things that I think all lawyers should be a part of. Most lawyers don’t spend the time to give back not just through community service but through the bar association.

It’s not just about getting my name out there, it’s not just about increasing my resume, it makes a difference for my clients. If I can build relationships with the other members of the bar, you know the lawyers that are going to be defending cases and even the judges that I’m going to be in front of I think it gives me and my clients a little advantage to know that I’m going to get treated fairly and respected by the people I’m going to have cases against in front of.
