Part of my practice is the Workers’ Comp Insurance Bad Faith area. A lot of the times the employer will rely upon an insurance company to handle the claims and do it properly because they rely upon them as experts to do the work on those claims. But what the employer doesn’t know is, a lot of the times the people handling these claims are very overworked and they’re missing things. And when a claim is just getting paid and things are being missed, the cost of the claim will go up exponentially.

So, I’ve had some – numerous cases against insurance companies, some of the largest insurance companies in the nation. We sued them for the way that they’ve handled these claims, sometimes resulting in millions of dollars in excess costs and premiums to my clients. And I’ve been able to be successful in recovering those costs for many of my clients.

Being in this field, I realize that there’s a necessity and a need for somebody to address these problems for employers.
