You’re asking if your product that you’re about ready to commercialize to bring to the market place and sell, you’re asking if your product will infringe a valid claim of somebody else’s patent. And so to answer that question a patent attorney will conduct a search and examine the patent and evaluate the scope, construe the claims, try to understand what really is going on here in terms of the scope of the claims of the patent held by others. And then compare that with the product that is being offered for commercial sale. And so it’s the comparison between the product and the claims of others.
