There’s a number of different organizations in which I’ve been involved. For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of the American Bar Associations property loss section that deals with property damage claims. I’m currently a co-chair for that national committee and we are right now organizing the yearly seminar that we put on every year. It will be held next spring down in Florida. So it’s wonderful to be able to work with lawyers all over the country who do the same type of work that I do both on the plaintiff and the defense side. It just gives me different perspective and it’s really just a privilege to be able to put those programs together because I learn so much about the law, the way that these issues are being handled here and elsewhere, and just helps me do a better job for my clients.
