So when a corporation or a business brings a product to the market place they want to make sure or their investors at least will that they’re not going to get in trouble for having sold this product or making this product. And so the investors or the business will ask the question what’s the patent portfolio landscape look like. What does our competitive landscape look like in terms of the patents held by others? And they’ll want to know if the product that they’re offering to sell will infringe a claim in any of the other patents that relate to that commercial space.
