I have been practicing in the field of workers compensation for over 30 years with this law firm, and I don’t know how to do anything else. But I love what I do and I probably wasn’t sure when I started, like a lot of people moving into their careers but it was a perfect fit for me because on a day to day basis you’re helping people get through a very treacherous work comp system that has pitfalls at every corner. And people have not been through work comp claims before. The vast majority of my clients have never been through this before. And we understand that and our job is to educate them on what is ahead for them and to steer them clear of falling off the tracks. And to keep them focused on getting through this and getting back to work or establishing a stream of permanent disability benefits for them if they can’t get back to work, getting all the medical care and treatment that they need so they can get as healthy as possible. Those are very real immediate needs day to day and it’s very satisfying.
