Conservatorship is one of the two different types of actions that can happen if you do become disabled or if property is given to someone who legally is considered not able to handle it for themselves so like a child. A conservatorship is where someone is appointed to take care of your property for you, and again, what we want to do in those situations is pre-plan. We want to have power of attorney documents put together, we want to have healthcare documents put together so that if you become disabled you won’t have to go through the court action to appoint a conservator. But if you haven’t had that done there is a process that we can go through in order to get a conservator appointed, someone that’s going to take care of you for as long as you’re disabled.
