Employment at will is the situation where an employee can quit anytime that they want to, with or without cause, with or without notice and an employer can terminate the employee with or without cause or with or without notice. And, most employees in the United States are employees at will. They can be fired for any reason or no reason and the employees can quit for any reason or no reason.
