Well, mediation has been a growing area because legal services can be very expensive and litigation, when I first started, you could try a whole case for $5,000.00 to $7,000.00. Now it can be $25,000.00, $30,000.00, $40,000.00, even $50,000.00 just to litigate a case, and things take so much longer. There’s motions to work through. With mediation, you can have a neutral third party listen to your side of the story, listen to the other story, the pros and cons of both cases, and then give – try to see if there’s a middle ground somewhere. Many times people get set in their ways. They wanna have their day in court, and that can be destructive and counterproductive to what they wanna do.
