A parenting plan is the physical custody that you share with the other parent. Either you can come to an agreement, or the court can make an order as to what that parenting plan is. And typically, what you want to take into account is your child’s age, or your children’s ages, your work schedules, your children’s extracurricular activities, the distance between both of your homes, and other factors that really create the best schedule that’s in the best interest of the child, and also works around everyone’s respective schedules and locations.
