I’m originally from New Orleans. My mother was a court reporter for judges so I literally grew up in the courtroom. I’ve ben around judge my entire life and I think that that shaped what I understand about what I do today. I was a teacher before I was a lawyer and I think that helps me with my clients as well with judges and with juries and with other lawyers. By vocation, I’m a teacher and I think that in this particular area of law that’s what we need.
