In Pennsylvania, spousal support was initially what you got during a divorce and there were certain defenses to it. They then passed a statute putting in what they call alimony pendant lite. And there is no defense to the award of that. And that’s to be given during the divorce action. Once the divorce action is over, it’s not spousal support. It’s alimony, if there’s any awarded at all. And that depends on the facts of the case and the need of parties and the ability to pay.
