Well, if a person needs spousal support and their spouse is unemployed, it’s gonna be a very complex situation because the court will likely enter a support order. But if the person’s unemployed or underemployed, there may not be sources to receive the actual payment. So in those cases you would have either the acquisition of arrears, which are late payments that get paid back at a future date, or you’d have to look for other assets to possibly attach and liquidate.
