It was over ten years ago at a former firm, I was writing divorce articles for a local newspaper weekly. And after a year, 52 articles, I had this compilation of information that was really helpful, the kind of information that I give to my clients all the time. And I thought, you know, I should really put this together in a way that I can give to my clients. And so I created the handbook at that time, which is basically short answers to concrete questions that come up in divorce cases, and so that I can give it to clients. It’s really not a profit venture.
Because a lot of times it’s hard to remember the details that I share, and so the handbook serves as a little reference tool that my clients can look back to, or I also given to other professionals, who have clients or family or friends going through divorce, and it helps them. So then every two years I’ve updated it to maybe add new issues and update for any law changes. So here we are in its fifth edition.
