we think we’re more than just lawyers
at bupd we also believe that we’re
counselors so
we do
bring
we feel business acumen to any real
estate or other transactional deal the
example that i gave you about analyzing
uh what a prospective property tax
burden would be
to a client that is looking at doing a
real estate development most clients
would just
call their lawyer and say i’m looking to
buy this property they’re not going to
send them
a pro forma in a microcell excel
spreadsheet and say
hey is my lawyer can you analyze this
spreadsheet and tell me if you think i’m
right in my numbers tell me if you think
my assumptions are right where am i
wrong so our our clients i think they
really do come to us because they
they trust that we’re in it for their
good we’re not just in it to build fees
and also we do have
oftentimes alternative fee arrangements
where if we’re representing a client on
a transactional matter or corporate
matter
and
they have a budget we will provide them
with flat fees or not to exceed numbers
on doing certain transactional work
whereas most large law firms don’t have
the ability to do that
