The three practice groups I’m in is litigation, real estate, and the business organization practice. And it fits with sort of the three things I do.
And what’s great is if an issue arises that I don’t know anything about, like ERISA, which is employment-related benefits stuff, we have a wonderful group that I’ll go talk to them. If it’s even just, like, a weird real estate issue that I don’t know something about, you can go down and bounce off your partners, and that’s a huge advantage. Because if I knew everything, I wouldn’t be talking to you; I’d be on a beach, right?
So, part of it, for me, is having partners that you can go and get ideas from to solve problems. I’m very comfortable saying to my clients, “You know, I don’t know the answer to that. I’ll call you right back. I’m going to go talk to somebody.” And that is a great advantage of being at a place like this.
So – and the other thing is, you’re learning from your partners, and you’re learning all the time. So, our groups – those different groups, for me, help me always be learning and pulling from others. So, it’s a great environment that way.
