Here recently I guess one of the more significant cases that we’ve been involved with is the case involving the accusations of organized crime against multitude of bike club members at the Twin Peaks over in Waco. That’s taking on kind of a life of itself and become a very interesting aspect of litigation for myself and certainly my client as well as the whole process of involving a case of such magnitude. I think it’s, frankly, quite historic in the allegation and the scope.
From a personal satisfaction I guess one that I recall is a murder trial that I handle back in the late ’90s back down in rural Limestone County, Texas about 45 minutes south of here, which had some interesting aspects of it, accusations of, obviously, taking a person’s life that led to a successful conclusion for my client. That was a big one that had all the makings of a To Kill a Mockingbird and A Time to Kill type of personification. I won’t bore you with all the significant details but it could have easily been a book that needs to be written one day.
