Title IX protects victims of campus sexual assault by basically insuring them equal access to the educational environment. Specifically, it gives them a variety of measures that they can use through the campus disciplinary system to make sure that they are safe on campus and that they are allowed to continue their education without fear of further harassment or intimidation that they don’t face any kind of retaliation. And that the things that led to the campus sexual assault and the aftermath of the sexual assault is addressed by the university or college.
