Well actually, I have a great example for you. And it was a recent tortuous interference case. And the opposing PhD expert came up with a damage calculations of $7 million. Well, I analyzed it and I came up with about $1.2 million. And we decided to offer a settlement at $1.5. Well, they refused. We went to a two-week federal trial _____. And I only opined that they didn’t prove anything with any merit and with reasonable certainty. That was my only opinion. And the jury deliberated for only 90 minutes. Came back with zero damages.
Now, they even won the legal argument. So to come back with zero damages, that was really great. And they could have settled for a cool $1.5 million. And, you know, good for us, bad for them.
