When do you have to go back and revisit your plan? There’s some key times when you should really give your estate planning attorney a call. Rule of thumb, every three to five years. You want to know if the laws have changed that might impact your overall plan. If your marital status has changed, if there’s a death or a birth, you’ll want to touch base to make sure that your plan is still effective. But otherwise, every three to five years you should always just give a call and make sure you still have a productive plan.
