When I had been a lawyer for four years, I received my first Super Lawyers award, and that was a big deal, and I won it for a number of years after that. Since then, we’ve been awarded – I’ve been awarded, actually – the Minnesota Lawyer of the Year award.

They have to not only look at their formal education, but probably more importantly their informal education. All of us have been to law school and passed the bar, but many lawyers stop there. They may undergo the minimum training, the continuing legal education credits, but we go beyond that.

They should focus on their everyday lives and get on with their lives. Let us handle the legal aspect of this. When most people are able to do that, they just feel the stress lift off them because we’re gonna do the heavy lifting of the legal side.
