Growing up no one in my family had been a lawyer. In fact, I didn’t even know any lawyers and I was the first in my family to go to college and to law school, but I did see a lot of folks that needed lawyers and it was largely in the personal injury area.
So very early in my career I decided that personal injury law was the area that I wanted to do. It was helping the people that I could relate to. I’ve been doing it now for 30 years. I’ve tried many cases to juries and had many settlements over the years and many different kinds of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, truck accidents, train accidents, plane accidents, accidents involving products, accidents involving school property, accidents involving business property or large equipment; things of that sort.
I’ve also helped from time to time people who are victims of medical malpractice as well. Another kind of specialized type of personal injury practice and I’ve been doing it very happily for 30 years.
