Transcript:

When you or family member or a referral lawyer contacts our office, the first part is that we’re gonna talk on the phone, get a general idea of what happened and what you believe is your – what your case is about, and then we’ll set up an appointment in our office typically, or we’ll come to your home if you’re unable to come, or to the hospital if you’re still in the hospital, unable to travel. And during that time, we are going to get a thorough history of what happened, a background history about your education and work history ad income history, et cetera. And then we are going to get as much information as we can about the auto crash or about the product liability failure, about the medical injuries and so forth right at the initial meeting so that we can get started right away.

In our firm, we work on a contingent fee, which means that there is no money owed to our firm, you never pay us a retainer. We do not what any financial risk to our clients, and we also pay for the costs of the case from the beginning to the end. Hopefully when we’re successful, we earn our fee, which is a portion or a percentage of the amount that we recover, and then we also are reimbursed for the costs.

Typically, we will send an e-mail, in the modern day, and request the client to bring certain things such as a police report and tax returns and insurance papers and medical bills if they have them, so that we can get started right away but it’s not necessary. Really, we just need to have a meeting, and once we have the meeting, which usually takes an hour or two, we are able to get started right away.
