Scales of Justice: Jeffrey M. Goldberg commissioned a sculpture of the scales of justice. He answers the question, “Why is this piece of art important to you?”
Chicago, IL medical malpractice attorney Jeffrey M. Goldberg discusses a piece of art known as the Scales of Justice.
The same thing that motivated me to start representing the little people I wanted to try and equal the scale between someone that was injured in a car in General Motors years ago. It’s evolved to then and I had a client once say to me after a closing argument when I was demonstrating with my arms the scales of justice tipping how important that was it dawned on me that that was what this is all about. We’ve got to tip the scales in favor of our client. Without the work that our firm does, without the quality employees that we have and partners that I have we don’t tip the scales, the scales are the symbol of what we do.
